Access Control Lists (ACLs)
In Aeneis, access to objects is controlled by user permissions defined in access control lists (ACLs). The individual entries of access control lists (ACEs) define the access permissions per directory object.
Each object is explicitly assigned an ACL. The directory objects assigned to the ACL in the ACEs are given the respective access rights set on the object. The order of the ACEs determines the ranking of the authorizations from top to bottom.
The Permissions tab allows you to create, configure, and manage ACLs.
